We cater for school visits at the farm all year round. For 2023 we are offering completely new packages for educational visits. We have several options to choose from for a visit. If none of these options suit your needs please contact us as we are very flexible and can tailor your visit directly to what you need. All visits (unless stated otherwise) include 1 free adult for every 4 children. Any child requiring 1-1 support also receives a free adult ticket. Any additional adults are £2/person
All school visits include: Entry to the farm and play areas from 10am – 2.30pm, Animal feed for each child, Storage area for bags, designated picnic area (indoors or outdoors).

Discover how life on and around the farm and how the natural world around us changes over the seasons. Minimum of 20 children.
Includes: a guided tour of the animals with an animal handling session, tractor and trailer ride with a farm talk tailored to your group, a farm theme craft and access to the farm nature trail. Minimum of 20 children.
Includes: Choice of themed activity days delivered by a qualified teacher and tailored to the age of the group and the curriculum. Full details will be discussed at the time of booking. Minimum of 20 Children. Please see brochure link for activity day options.
Includes: a guided tour of the animals with an animal handling session, tractor and trailer ride with a farm talk tailored to your group. There is no minimum number and no limit to the number of adults.
Fantastic day of fun at Boston Park Farm to treat your pupils e.g. Year 6 end of school trip, 100% attendance treat, house-points awards etc… Minimum of 10 children.
Includes: a guided tour of the animals with animal feed and an animal handling session, tractor and trailer ride and an outdoor activity (Maize Maze entry July-October) .
We can also offer added extras such as additional lessons tailored to curriculum and age of group. Maize Maze entry (Mid July/end Oct), Ice-creams, keepsake of the day etc. Please discuss these with us when booking for prices and different options available.

Designed by our team of educators and farmers, we will be providing monthly activity days for home educators at Boston Park Farm. Creating the perfect learning experience to help enhance your child’s understanding of our natural world. Our sessions touch on many subjects, such as Art, Design & Technology, Geography, Science and History.
Each session will be themed around a different topic depending on the season and what is happening at the farm. The day will be from 10.30 – 3pm and include a morning of activities and talks and then free use of the farm park and play areas in the afternoon.
Tickets are £10 per child and includes 1 free adult per family. Additional adults are £3.

22nd February – Spring on the Farm & Lambing
It’s lambing time at the farm: visit our newborn lambs in our lambing shed and learn all about how they are cared for here at Boston Park Farm.
22nd March – Living things and their habitats
Learn all about the animals and plants that create their habitats on and around the farm. Explore the local environment, produce amazing artwork to showcase some of your new found knowledge and build your very own habitat.
26th April – Our Green Planet
How do plants grow and what is our roll in ensuring this happens? Explore the plants and vegetation around the farm, learn about the functions of a plant, plant your own seed potatoes to watch them grow.
24th May – Exploring Art through Nature
Discover the incredible world of nature through the eyes of an artist. Use different natural materials to create your own artwork and learn about famous artists who explore art through nature whilst you’re at it.
28th June – Our Animal Planet
How do animals differ from each other? How do we care for the animals on the farm and what do we do with what is left behind? Have an in-depth look into the life-cycle of a chicken.
19th July – Where does our food come from?
Learn all about what makes a healthy balanced diet and the important roll that farmers play in providing the food and food products to help keep us healthy. Visit the animals and find out what they eat and how this differs from other animals. Enjoy the hands-on experience of using farm grown produce to make their own food.
Adults are required to stay with their children at all times.
Boston Park Farm is still a traditional working farm, our animal trail allows children to get up close with a wide range of farm animals.
You can pet and feed most of the animals and on special days we have animal handling sessions. The whole experience is geared up to suit children up to around 10 years old.
